Registration Information for 2026-2027 School Year

🎒 Overbrook Pre-K Registration 2026–2027 School Year 🐝

Registration for the 2026–2027 Pre-K school year at Overbrook Early Learning Center is now open for children ages 2.8–5.

Registration Times
🕗 8:00–10:00 AM
🕓 4:00–6:00 PM
📲 Families can scan the QR code on the flyer to complete the online registration form.
📄 Please Bring the Following Documents
• Child’s Birth Certificate
Parent/Guardian Photo ID
Lease agreement or mortgage statement
Two current utility bills (dated within the last 30 days)
Current health assessment form
Medication authorization forms (if applicable)
2025 tax return OR four consecutive pay stubs for each working adult in the household

🔄 Re-Registration for Current Overbrook Students
Families re-registering a child who already attends Overbrook only need to submit:
• Lease agreement or mortgage statement
• Two current utility bills (dated within the last 30 days)
2025 tax return OR four consecutive pay stubs for each working adult in the household

Kindergarten Registration is OPEN for 2026-2027

It is officially time to welcome our newest learners to the district! We are excited to announce that registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. If your child is ready to start their educational journey, we invite you to begin the process today.

Join Us for an Information Session
To help families navigate this transition, we are hosting Kindergarten Information Sessions. Join us to meet staff, ask questions, and learn more about the curriculum and daily life in our classrooms.
When: Monday, March 16
Time: 6-7:00 PM
Locations: Deer Run School, Momauguin School, & Tuttle School (please attend at your child's home school)

How to Register
Starting the enrollment process is a simple two-step journey:
  1. Start Online: Families should begin by completing the initial registration forms through our online portal [CLICK HERE to Begin].
  2. Finalize In-Person: Once the online portion is complete, you will work directly with your child’s home school to submit required documents and finalize the paperwork in person.

Week 3: 📅 March 16–20

This week our Pre-K explorers will continue their dinosaur adventures by exploring numbers with dinosaurs! Children will practice counting, comparing sizes, and recognizing patterns using dinosaur eggs and figures in hands-on math activities.

Children will explore numbers and patterns using dinosaurs while developing early math skills such as counting, comparing size, and organizing information.

Diaper Bank Distribution

East Haven Family Resource Center and Community Dining sponsors the monthly Diaper Distribution at two East Haven locations. East Haven Residency Required. Only one pick up per month.

East Haven's Mobile Food Pantry

East Haven's Mobile Food Pantry Distributions are every other Tuesday, 2-2:45 p.m. at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, 355 Foxon Rd., East Haven
Walk-up distribution. No residency required. Please bring your own bag.

Join the Family Resource Center Playgroup

Families with young children are invited to attend the Play & Learn Group hosted by the East Haven Family Resource Center. This weekly playgroup provides a welcoming space for children and caregivers to learn, play, and connect with other families in the community.
The group focuses on supporting children’s social development, communication skills, and early learning through play-based activities and interactions with peers.
Program Details
Ages: Birth to 5 years old
Day: Every Wednesday
Time: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Location: Adult Education, 290 Dodge Avenue
Families are asked to complete the intake form on the Family Resource Center website to register for playgroups by scanning the QR code on the flyer.

Senior Center dine-in meals are for families with children, and take-out is available for everyone.

🌸 Free Spring Fling Family Event 🌸

Families are invited to attend the Spring Fling, a free community event hosted in partnership with the Community Dining Room.

This fun family event will include:
• Dinner
• Spring crafts
• Music
All children attending will receive a basket from the bunny.
This event is for families with children.

🐰 Breakfast With the Bunny – Community Event

Families are invited to attend Breakfast With the Bunny, hosted by the East Haven Rotary Club.

Overbrook Early Learning Center is excited to launch our Popcorn Fundraiser to support the Overbrook Student Activity Fund, which helps provide special events and experiences for our students.
