As a reminder the Office of Early Childhood (OEC) has shared its annual reminder that all children ages 6 months to 5 years enrolled in licensed child care and preschool programs must receive a flu vaccine by December 31, 2025. If your child has not received their flu shot by that date, they cannot return to school until they have received the vaccine or until March 31, 2026, unless a medical exemption has been provided by your child’s doctor.

Overbrook Flu Clinic

We’re hosting another Flu Clinic at Overbrook on Wednesday, December 3rd from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The clinic is open to all staff, parents, children, and any adults in our school community. Please use the link below to sign up.

Please include the name of the person receiving the flu vaccine when registering.

Important Details:

• Attach a copy of your insurance card to your Flu Consent Form (see attached form).
• Parent must be present for a child to receive the vaccine.
• Children must pre-register by November 19 so vaccines can be ordered accordingly. 
• Only nasal vaccine will be offered for children ages 3–13 who have been previously immunized.
• Adults and children 14+ may receive either the traditional or nasal vaccine (if eligible).
• A Senior Strength vaccine is available for those 65+.
• Vaccines will be administered by licensed nurses from the East Shore District Health Department.

Participating Insurances include:
Medicare Part B, Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, ConnectiCare, Husky, Medicaid, and United Healthcare.
